Scenario · Revenue operations

One graph, three systems

The sales team had a tool. Marketing had a table. An agent in Slack had a prompt and a lot of confidence. None of them shared a definition of a good account.

A composite walkthrough, not a customer story. Names elsewhere on the site that match this one are the same sample book.

Uses CRM, warehouse, agents

  1. Week 1

Pick the fields that are allowed to matter

RevOps chooses what Priorread may write back to Salesforce: the why, the strongest tie, the last trigger, and a confidence. Not forty new properties. The CRM stays the system of record. Priorread stays the map.

  2. Week 2

    The agent gets a ceiling

A Slack agent can answer “who do we know at this company.” It uses the asker’s Floor permissions and spends the asker’s lookups. An audit line shows the question and the records touched. The agent does not get a private copy of the graph.

  3. Week 4

    First-party signals join the map

Product events already live in the warehouse. On Signal they can mark an account as iOS-heavy because their own users are, which is a better device signal than a guess from the outside. Depth includes what the company has earned the right to know.

  4. The rule

    One explanation, everywhere

The sentence a rep sees in the extension is the sentence the CRM stores and the sentence the agent is allowed to say. When those diverge, people stop trusting all three. The job of RevOps here is to keep the sentence singular.
